Gentle lift Changing your spirit Eyes black Saying I dont want my song, sung I dont want you to make my destiny Later we spoke You did this to me I was happy You did this to me No I have never done anything I have stayed away I have never done more to stand from a distance and watch I have never made you be more than you What happens now Nothing I had no involvement in you I have merely stayed For something You can see the sun You can walk down a hill You can It is easy to ask me Why I permitted you Looking into eyes I will bear the cost For I can not say no Ask me For the grant to ease a pain I can never bear and will someday face dave |
