Delicate daylilies lie dormant no longer As each night shortens and days grow stronger Tulip tips have touched the spring morning air Awakening with the daffodils that are already there Fallen fingers of the trees are gathered for the fire With leaves and wind trash come joining winter’s Pyre Gloom |

Professor Zoom (great rosie lens), I think you have have something here! Sspring fever! Wonderful. I love it when you write other than gloom. I liked your careful, delicate alliteration and use of metaphor. The imagery comes alive like the birds at 5:30a.m. More, more. Have a good day, Zoom. Sadie |
