I weave my thoughts with threads of love
To create a tapestry of art
Every word is finely woven
Containing pieces of my heart

I expose my deepest feelings
As my words turn into rhyme
So engrossed within my writing
That I lose all sense of time

I may write of two young lovers
Who walk in hand beside the sea
My words are a true reflection
From the heart and soul of me

I feel that I've been blessed
With the ability to write
Out of all the things I write of
Love remains my guiding light
