Listening to every heart

Shadow’s Corner [Konrad’s Memories]

In the chiming times, when light shows there
In tender Shadow’s corner,
Where you dwell,

Believing you there, smiling,
Waving, then sliding slowly, fading
Into vague again.

How often you come, to stroke my lines,
Like moonlight and
Texas breezes, that switch clouds high,
Bringing up salty moisture
Onto driest soul-creases.

Mind's eye softly sounds tunes you remember,
Breathing hums of loving, stirred ~
I miss you so.

Young, old, in-between,
What does age matter
When time is chiming?

You reside here, tapping gently,
Glazing grazing eyes that light upon all
This and that of what once
Touched you.

You share the dim corner with others,
Who glide and slide, in
And out
But I know when it is,
When you hold me a little longer, some days,
When the trembling flutter
Revisits a stumbling stutter to weary thoughts,
And I trip, slipping back
In a loss I still don’t possess…

I give it all up again,
To watch you gambol
In Shadow’s corner.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...

In the shadows
   lies the substance
     sustenance of life
       while iron-clad impoverished
         minds simply walk by
           unseeing unknowing
             unappreciating
               undone strolling
                 through UNlife
How much we miss for the simple lack of listening, looking, but most of all-
Believing
For nothing will exist without belief
       say sad dreamer
         isn't it a pity
           he won't come
             back to Earth
        Sad misbeliever
           afraid to color
             outside the lines
               just to see what
                 might appear

Thank you Karilea.. for sharing Konrad's memories with us.
It is always a pleasure... always.

Sunshine,
Again, I am in awe.  There is so much to your writing. I, also, look forward to reading your responses as well.  They are often profound. Enjoyed!

yessssss .... exactly ....

Home is a feeling I buried in you ...
I'm alright, I'm alright ... It only hurts when I breathe ...

Sunshine

You are some piece of brilliance

Dave

I time

I sought you

Where you dwell

I came for you

Disbeliving

I came for you

Mars was only mushroom

Paris on your bottom
Chalk still there
For all to see

Mind's eye softly sounds tunes you remember,
Breathing hums of loving, stirred ~
I miss you so.

Young, old, in-between,

In Shadow’s corner.
