A Night Like None Before

It was a night like none before
With dark and cold beyond the door
And burning wood threw firelight
Like phantoms dancing in the night

It seemed to me a sound knocked ask
That took my weary bones to task
But no one answered to my call
Just whispers of the wind was all

I turned my sight upon the flame
Thinking out her lovely name
To come and take my hand in thaw
If but in spirit held once more

It’s then a presence filed the room
Like a gush that ran a flume
It washed me like a baths release
Bringing me a sighs surcease

And from my heart a flame did swell
That cried the name of Isabel

Hello sweet Seymour...
this is so sweet and loving.......

It’s then a presence filed the room
Like a gush that ran a flume
It washed me like a baths release
Bringing me a sighs surcease

And from my heart a flame did swell
That cried the name of Isabel
It shows your heart, my friend.
I've missed you.
