The science of our world has robbed my awe for heaven’s eyes. The stars have been reduced to balls of fire. Our fathers could find solace dreaming about what they saw but we defined when we should have admired. How young were you when reason stole the sun? When did the moon become a rock to conquer? I want my soul to dream of things to come but knowledge wont allow my heart to wander. Before we drowned our world in explanation Such hope there was in questioning creation. |

Hey Kevin I love the poem. Of course astronomy does hold some fascination for me. I had to stop in and see what the other Kevin was writing. Well done! Glad I got a chance to read this piece. EvocativeVerse2 a.k.a. Kevin Middleton Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |

Very good points in this, I like the way you put it all together. Good job. Brian Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |
