With a tapered tubular snout an extended claw exerts its clout ant colony beware of burrowing skills expert limbs plow on collective kills.. The armadillo does much the same but becomes a ball when hunted game laps up termites on a sticky tongue licks the grass over the insect rung.... What would we do without these creatures would we lose sight of anteater features, they're not needed for man's food table their presence might end much as a fable. Wordwizard, Sure hope its presence won't become a fable. I liked this and could picture it in an illustrated child's book of poetic verses about animals. I have a book similar to that by either Jack Prelutsky or Eric Carle. This type of book is especially popular in the primary classrooms because of the poetic value and the overlapping into non-fiction. Perhaps a collection? Enjoyed. Sadelite |
