After Red Tide Foam trails meander along the edge, the murmur of uncountable bubbles sultry behind a fading cush of waves as each tiny existence flicks out in drops too small to find, and a whisper of salt, quiet as the endless touchings of the sand. They whisper that the world is good, pretend the bubble of my spirit has a place within the surge and tumble of the universe; it is such a beautiful lie that for a moment, this lifetime at least and maybe more, I believe. |

You've done it again. You've managed to make me homesick... but it's something that had to be said, and I'm glad you found time, and occasion, to treat us so. |

Ed...I feel a great deal of reflection in this poem with a sad undertone. Sometimes I feel so small...like the sand, the salt you speak of ...when compared to the enormous world. You are special, my friend..never doubt it! I see you there on the beach! |

excellent...and I love the limit of these lines: "it is such a beautiful lie that for a moment, this lifetime at least and maybe more, I believe." ...and, well worth believing...I say... |

They whisper that the world is good, pretend the bubble of my spirit has a place within the surge and tumble of the universe; Wow, RatL., you did it again! You've been peeping again. Take care. Oh, BTW, excellent poem! For a person who once responded to one of my poems that it was difficult to translate shades into words, I find you do an incredible job! Sadie |

I'm glad the rumors I read of your leaving the site were only that. Your poetry leaves a depth to these pages that would indeed be missed |

No one... but NO ONE... can match your ability to paint such images with your pen that we don't just see through your eyes... we are there.... appreciating the most minute particles of the vastness. *S* They whisper that the world is good, pretend the bubble of my spirit has a place within the surge and tumble of the universe; What isn't a lie is that this world is better because of you... and you have a place within the conclave of the finest talents to ever pick up a pen. *S* |
