ten past you and I
and we were almost
horizon spent

fading

with the glory
of a rumbling
desert storm

lying

in puddles
of cleansing
raindrop-drip

hushing

secret soul-spilled

       kiss

on lips that hold
the morning's dew

and you, who took
to evening's task
dipped past the

    non believer's moon

stitching

forever falling stars
into this lover's

   jaded eyes
