Why Try

I don't fly very free
in these moments of just me.
Half the time the rise is on the down.

No matter what the try
deep throated always comes the cry.
In never ending negatives, I drown.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

N.T.
Whatever has caused this birth of Saturns child in your life, can be mended, not erased, but mended to the point of tolerance...This poem is short, but very powerful, although common (its theme)seems to run rampant in society..and in actuality, always has..The trick now is healing, and learning from this experience...Take care of your soul..good memories can do this...
as Thomas Moore suggests..perhaps apply these words to daydreams..

*"Oft, in the stilly night,
Ere slumber's chain has bound me,
Fond memory brings the light
Of other days around me;"

*(exert "Oft, in the stilly night"

I have rambled on too long...sorry
enjoyed reading this poem

Why Try

I don't fly very free

Dancing around your mind

in these moments of just me.

Half the time the rise is on the down.

Kicking the sheets over the down
that pretends down is up
up is down

and freedom is being cold
on a warm bed

No matter what the try

screaming

deep throated always comes the cry.
In never ending negatives, I drown.

To underdown

Hugging you tight....
Yup, Spring is coming..
this snow has to melt soon.

Poetry is not an opinion expressed...
it is a song that rises from a bleeding wound
...or a smiling mouth.
