Summers Morn evolved over 6 or 7 years I'm putting the version out for anyone who is interested in the evolvement Dave ******************************************** I saw the sun romance you on an early morn Swirling you to catch An early dawn Spinning you to moonlight For days you were born Framing shadow Sparkling light To a sparkling jewel To shine On a summer’s day breathing warmth Feeling grass beneath your feet Echoing pleasure Neat Reviewing your favourite makeup Outlined by a plastic bag On a plastic street With a clock right every hour You look for Peter Sloane Spare Rib on your diet Spare Rib in your hand You echo independence And Chelsea by the strand |

DavePage Your mataphor and symbols need a background I do not have. I can only generalize and in that sense it is excellent. |

Spare Rib is from the bible but was also a woman's rights magazine Peter Sloane was a rejection of what were called the Sloane Rangers in the those days. Peter Jones was a department store opposite Sloane Square station and a haunt of my lady after Biba's closed. Dave |
