don't fence me in |

Like tufts of hair caught on barbed wire, tearing open the wild heart reveals an inside fire; in forward flight at full speed, corraled roan does plaintively plead. Don’t fence me in. I am the free spirit needing room to roam. Wherever I go, I am at home. My roof is forever the stars and blue skies, I cannot thrive in a world of disguise. Don’t put a fence around my soul. Don’t try to lasso my heart. Don’t fence me in. And some day I may follow you willingly. |

Great advice for any person, Kacy! But you, especially, I believe, have the courage to always be a free spirit! Loved this poem! ...jo |

A not too subtle warning, nicely and expressively made Thought is was great I can remember the original tune only thing is the name, but I think he sang Rawhide and Blazing Saddles amongst all the others Dave |

I ain't lookin' to block you up Shock or knock or lock you up, Analyze you, categorize you, Finalize you or advertise you. All I really want to do Is, baby, be friends with you. I don't want to straight-face you, Race or chase you, track or trace you, Or disgrace you or displace you, Or define you or confine you. All I really want to do Is, baby, be friends with you. Mr.Dylan your poem reminds me thanks |
