The candle is burning low on my tabletop the curtain is softly moving in the gentle breeze I would be content to hold you now but I’m satisfied to remember when we wandered down to the sea mesmerized by the lull of the moon and the heat of the sparks that flew in the night was like the rhythm of the sea washing my body against yours and I watched you as you lay sleeping your body entwined in some far away dream I lay lost in the love that I felt and if you knew how lonely my life has been maybe once again we would be drawn to the rhythm of the sea but as I wipe the tears on my sleeve I can only grieve for what might have been |

This is sad yet very warm.... Memories can indeed be bittersweet!!! Enjoyed!!! Bridgette "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again. To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." Unknown |
