The Geese Have Flown But The Bumps Remain Copyright 2004 by: Mark V Sheldon Somewhere between now and when the climate changed beckoning the flock with more hot air My dreams followed suit gone south on a wild chase to greener pastures bills filled while I hollowed Set sale everything as a price to pray with currency and keeping down the Joneses who flail My gray shun the open skies deep blue reflections crippling image & nation where all are none Left behind a loan paying do’s with didn’ts while the bumps remain and the geese have flown You CAN make a difference: |

Hi Ron. No worries... just in a reflective state, sprinkled with cynicism and multi-faceted metaphorical wordplay... -MVS You CAN make a difference: |
