overhead gliders circling round the branches bare haze like halo shroud the chill that stains the wintry air he remembers the seasons rung across the beams of moon looking skyward now as they know too the respite offfered to shivering wings they stop to kneel upon your own aging branches wearing the callouses of stacked upon winters the veil of chifflon blue connecting worlds above to seas below in eternal view on wisps of clouds their ascention then fluttering omnipresence unexpected the touch on the shoulder the spirit lingers never far when the bond is there you didn't get to hold his hand upon his last inhalation softly now quiet your tears who do you think led him through? he ways knew upon his transition blessed now with wings he stayed warm feeling you through the haze of light birth him through peaceful surrender he exhaled feeling the kiss of his angel as he passed through etchings on the heart he arrived there wearing the eyes of you *** for my dear mother, saint rose, haunted, because she wasn't at his bedside for that moment to say goodbye**** |

That is so sweet and tender. Especially the ending. That was so nice of you to write that. Yeah, that would be sad to not be able to be there, at the end. But like you said, with a love that deep, you really never can be that far apart. I hope that all is well for your dear mother, and family. My sincerest condolonces, on your family's loss. Take Great Care, Richy |

he arrived there wearing the eyes of you Beautiful words and very very touching, dear Michelle. I understand your mother's pain though, I too went through this feeling, when I was not near my mother when she passed on. But the spirit KNOWS. May your dear mother find peace and take to heart your wise and beautiful words. Love and hugs. Margherita |

Beautiful words and sentiment. This was heartfelt and truly enjoyed. While the pain lessens, the memory never fades. |

"the spirit lingers never far when the bond is there" Very moving for the soul and all that aches within us for those past regrets everyone has. Another classic! |
