I just can't go very long without posting another grandpa poem - well I love them and love being a grandpa...they stayed while their folks went on vacation January Visiting We had such fun while you were here Soft talks and wild walks Suitcase rides and sofa slides We saw the life love and felt its surround So magically your presence makes our souls bound Basketball and pretzels, popcorn and dipping dots Relived often to remember all we’ve got The many things you have to say The wondrous ways you fill our days A beautiful giggle and tempestuous wiggles A pout at times and then some sniggles We love you both is beyond our saying Your visits take us on joyous playing We rescue as heroes and meow like kitties Searching for neutrons with a guy named Jimmy Days at a museum to see and to learn Even some disciplining that make you look stern Tacos and fruit rollups and pizza with a mouse We are so very happy when you “come to our house”! Paul, your love for your Grandchildren is to be cherished, one day when they're old enough they will realise how much you love them.
