Fly away
on distant memories of dreams.
Silken shades of sun
tantalise my eyes,
awakening my dullened senses.
~~~-*-~~~
Rain trespasses upon my flesh
higher..floating freely
at the forefront of imagination.
A spectrum of colour
swirling like a vortex of rainbows
paints my black and white soul.
~~~-*-~~~
Beneath the crisp breeze
of the wanting wind
lies the ominous world
which I have chosen to forget.

enjoyed the write, the imagery of trespassing rain
(but perhaps dulled rather than dullened?)

the words so vividly lead me through, and leave me with a sense of sadness, but a beautiful way to get there....

kicking kim,
   I understand why you may have chosen this pen name.  I have been curious, as it is so unique!  I'm guessing it is because you fight to remain optimistic when things around may not necessarily lend themselves to optimism.  I liked how you expressed your
ideas and feelings in this very much.  Take care.

Kicking Kim -- Enjoyed this wistful write and thought that "A spectrum of colour
swirling like a vortex of rainbows
paints my black and white soul" was really particularly wel written.

Midnitesun, you are so right *dulled is better than dullened, I may amend this in time, but I'll leave it for now or nobody will understand this message!!
