the world has come down to a man on his tampa balcony holding his guitar
and the beach is packed like stone
and the sand is as white as the ghosts of integrity
and people go mad while in their hotel rooms
because they realize it's just a hotel room
and life is broadcasted through the timezones
so everyone knows the extent of the human disease
and the president brings up tragedy to push his war
and the real america is washing the floors
carpe diem sounds like a french entree
because we only seize what can feed us these days
our bodies all look like they got hit with the same steamroller
and our heads can't withstand the rain
do you think we'd all melt without our umbrellas?

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...

"carpe diem sounds like a french entree

And I now want to read everything you write.

Can't believe I've missed you this long...

Salute'.

I'm with serenity... I can't believe I've missed you this long too.

another keeper.

Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder.
