This isn’t really a poem
My wallet wore out
And I produce a picture of my wife
From the remains
Of the wallet taken 20 odd years ago

And as she offered a real thick leather wallet
From daygone byes

I said to her
We cant afford this anymore
She said to me
It wasn’t one of the days when you get taxed
For having a photograph
