Just Around the Corner

I thought about it,
wanting to be there,
press the issue of you against the wall,
to feel what I know and
to make you understand the need.

I sleep the thoughts
and awake to the throbbing
searching my heart for the answers,
as the rain taps out its message this morning,
reminding me that you are there, still.

The fog has not lifted,
yet beneath its weight
I know I have the strength
to reach out and rise above its layers,
keeping restraint, but still wanting.

I am lost in the cycle, each round
dusting me in glitter, the brightness
leaving me with hope.
I wear the smile of thoughts
for you, pushing back the loneliness
of waiting.

My fingers do the talking
of my heart, my eyes seeing you before me.
I hear the sounds of promise,
Spring around the corner, a newness
to look forward to.

So I step through the dreams,
shorten the distance and layout my offerings
allowing your walk to turn the corner
and meet me...there.
M

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, those sounds you are hearing are indeed promises as the next corner you turn can well likely be the one where all the blessings are laid before you! (smiles) Yay, keep looking ahead with the sun, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
