I know it's not likely
but do you regret what happened?
Does it sadden you to
not even know where we stand?
Sometimes silence means goodbye
So I bow my head
bite back my tears once again
and sigh that heartbroken sigh
knowing that this time
silence does mean goodbye

there's a thousand places I'd like to be, but in your arms would be Heaven

Beautiful read.  I really enjoyed this one because it showed true emotion,  like so many people here at Passions you write from the heart and thats what I like to see.

sadness yet so touching , I am often writting because I am left to wonder wondering about someones silence , in fact my recent one was about much the same subject , so I can relate

Sometimes those regrets aren't unmasked for years to come.  Then it's "Sorry, Charlie--you had your chance!"   I'm wishing you the best in these times.

Rhonda,
After considerable search I have concluded that you owe us a write. But I settled for this tonight because it is good!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
