An unwanted roommate Has usurped my existence How did this squatter Breach double-locked door? No handsome companion To comfort this lonely His essence is everywhere Despite my implore Stealing all energy And each joy from my life He tear streaks my cheeks And is tough to ignore For each step attempted Meets with some stumble He’s won every skirmish If one's keeping score Slumber offers some respite But dawn finds him waiting Demanding hot breakfast When I'd rather snore I ache to evict him Perhaps let a smile in And let warmth, love and light Replace his dismal decor |

I think saddness is a very negative entity who would rather evoke inspiration to his side. It's all around us...in the news, on the radio...people, and strikes the cords of each individual automony who buys his deceipt. Don't listen to em...evict him, burn the bugger out....ignore his anger, sour notes...put on a happy tune and forgetabout it. Smiles and hugs...love Lee J. |
