Let it be said,
but for a moment, time forms clots
Shear laced rewards, suspended breathless for us
An immense depth of makeshift divans, our temple of images
What meadow-lark sings contented with me?
Cavalcading transversely, towards an unchanging vision
But for a moment…winks a sunset’s golden hues

Generosity gleams truth, in lucrative waves
That beauty beads, nature’s mineral showers, tenderly strains
Like strings of yarn hanging from endless heaven….
Humming adventure, delicately spun on wings of suspension
But for those treasures, have we lived life’s endless song?
I recollect, but for a moment…have we begun?
Is all creation, all nature, merely an accolade?
Building us fires pure joy throughout the day
But for a moment…life’s wistful heart and sacred bow
Chain stitches dawn and twilight into some unseen chateau

Plucking ethereal melodies from an embroidered freedom
What voice so perfectly interprets this commonplace Eden?
Oh monstrous thing, how you address my heart in spiral coupling
But for a moment…allowing me to forget…singing peace
With man and unbridled emblems released
The imperfections of humankind, become a major key
With trumpets blazing into the sun, spreading feathery seeds
     But for a moment…time’s occasion
Springs willfulness invading like crystal persuasions

To whom must we eventually grace some support of design?
But for the moments, what sees and garnishes rhyme?
It is our purpose, our duty, delicate as it seams
Gathering cloves, near wind-swept dunes, to the tune of dreams
But for a moment…

Where a shadow of the Old Man paints a silvery link
For an upcoming generation of children in sync
Pied piper of personalities, magically sapphires a glow
Nodding gently in the breeze in search of the flow
But for a moment…one passionate moment…I stop and know
It takes not one small effort to love the world!

Lee,
I must admit that your writing overwhelms me.  At times, the messages are more deep than I am able to understand.  Still, you have a magnetism within your words that brings me back.  I am so glad I returned.  This is incredibly beautiful and engineered with silken threads, and of course, yarn. I enjoyed the freshness of your writing.
