A Friend Indeed? Some friends are quick to offer you advice, Just listen and your troubles soon won’t be, What’s that you say, You can’t afford the price? Impossible! Their counsel’s always free. You mean the price you’ll pay by heeding them? Don’t worry, just sit tight and listen long , Then practice each and every priceless gem, For surely they could never steer you wrong. You’ve only lived your life, how could you know, What path to take or plan to follow through? But on the other hand they’re quick to show They know what’s right for you to say and do. They’ll offer their advice at no expense, But in the end you’ll pay the consequence. |

Very good write. May our hearts always know if an advice is for our best and if it comes from a true friend! Love, Margherita |

good one, showing how we don't need approval from others to make ourselves happy! |

Wow. Well, no matter what you do most times, there always is a consiquence. The reason friends do that is because they care. Also, it is your choice not to listen if you do not want to. Is it not your fault for listening? Did you not bring the consiquence apon yourself. I do not know. I am just musing. Great write. A lot of power. Sometimes, that is how I feel as well. |
