Peeling back the wrappers of sea green,
   magenta, cornflower, tangerine;
   Sharpening old crayons,
   attempts to freshen days seen.

Colors were given
wondrous names, weren't they,
Sadie?

Outside of a child...
what other thing would you most
like to be responsible
for naming?

A very nice way to describe an excursion into the past.

perhaps stumbling to barely used
colored more acceptable that thought
and the option of fastening the stubs
to a rainbow foray mass sounds fun
crayons populcae demands a vote
crayons for everyone

"Quit stealing my blues" might turn into mayhem and melee but the value of a crayon
can hardly be gauged by we mortal few

Well done

(big angel happy dance) Awwwwwwww, I love happy endings and this one made me smile, sweet friend, when skies seem gray, just draw away with the brightest shades, yay! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sadelite, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Grover,
It was so nice of you to comment.  Thanking you,
           Sadie

Sunshine,
Well taken!  What other than a child's name would we be most responsible for naming?
I enjoyed your comment.
            Sadie

Margherita,
What a sweet comment.  Thank you, Margherita.  Have a nice day.
            Sadie

Seymour,
Thanks for reading this little one, Seymour. I'm glad you enjoyed.
            Sadie

Lee J.,
You have a great command of our language and vocabulary. I feel flattered by your comment.
             Sadie

Eternitys Horizon,
I think I enjoy reading your poetic comments more than I enjoy writing.  There is always mystery in your response and I have to reread a few times before I understand.   I really like the way you chose to picture crayons...
             Sadie

Noah,
Hearing a response from you about a poem is always a happy ending.  Thank you.
             Sadie

iliana,
I wrote this one first, but figured I'd
change my crayon perspective.  I love doing flipsides.
           Sadie

you took me back to a time of colors that were always torn back and dull if they weren't broken - I got lost in that time for a while - Paul
