Just what we saw careening by Just who it was heard deepening sighs Don’t bother them screeched the sun We will bask and bake and make But what it is ever will we know To eat to die to hold to know Withhold time’s voice that says…no more No more no more – can’t even the score Can’t cry for life Can’t sing no song Is it over now Has everything gone When did clouds dig the moon a hole When did my soul claim the sun No more no more it can’t be so We went and saw but felt no more So hold it now and send loves warmth Away from all to all who hold Time’s hands and heart it cannot fail To claim a life to claim it all Did sunset sounds caress our ears Or moonrise waves wash over our fears So nestle near and share the warm That offers love and life but sometimes …no more |

Paul -- this was terrific -- I had such a sense of bluegrass music behind this and I have no explanation why -- it just felt like that to me and I hope that is not offensive -- I quite enjoy good bluegrass. |
