Showing No Obvious Sign

In this don't care mood
When I know I really do
In heart and mind battle
Caught between the two

Trying to act nonchalant
Being upset I shall deny
Putting on a brave face
Its on the inside that I cry

With heartstings in knots
Entangled in the anguish
Its the painful realization
While refusing to languish

I'm both strong and weak
Smiles cover the despair
I know the users are part
Of a hearts wear and tear

Showing no obvious sign
Until healing takes place
Heartache is not pretend
I am wearing a brave face

The comings and goings
Are all happening inside
While the heart is hurting
I shall hang onto my pride

My mother used to say if you can't make it fake it. You seem to be doing a magnificent job of either making it or faking it. But if you are faking the mask didn't slip for an instant.

Hey Keth your mum is a wise woman and besides if you smile you might get some smiles in return .... often taken for granted and heart used over the years , I have learnt to smile beyong the tears
