sometimes it is with contempt my contentment the great warrior now stonemason there is no more glory in slaying giants than cutting stone after all there is no more glory in slaying giants and they sentenced him to die for corrupting youth and Socrates drank instead from the cup and they sentenced him to die and the Gallilean had the gall turned his cheek to the man and said Strike ME as an equal and strike him they did and he drank his father's cup as an equal the King had a dream on the shoals of Memphis and in atonement spilled his cup and in atonment so it is the contempt for my contentment or perhaps a mere lack of motivation on my part he could have just stayed home with Xanthippe |

well, he could have. And I could have stuck to reading dead poets, but then I would have missed all of this. and ooooh, chewing nails I love this: "and the Gallilean had the gall turned his cheek to the man and said Strike ME as an equal" smile. There's something very gritty and solid in me that understands that completely. and? "the contempt for my contentment" methinks that might get the best of me, but better to die trying I say. ah.... I got an LR fix. thank you. |

But they live on in spite of lives cut short... perhaps more intensely than if old age caused their demise. And what does that say about us... that we listen best when we're left with silence? Ya had to go and make me think... and you know that's painful for a blonde. LOL It's good to see you back, my friend! *S* |

LR "sometimes it is with contempt my contentment the great warrior now stonemason there is no more glory in slaying giants than cutting stone after all" Etched in stone, a word...a picture, can make something more than not at all. |

Powerful verse here. I like the references, and the world would lack some wonderful stories if any had just stayed home. |

Local Rebel -- what a brilliant grouping of analogies -- what deep soul renderings are these! Truly felt and appreciated. |
