Memory…What is a memory? A tale woven in our mind, An identity that we cling to, Something that we can always find. But what if the memory fades? What if it cannot be found? Do you disappear into nothing? Not even leaving a sound? Memories are all we have, Memories are all we are, Lose it, you fall into nothing, Nothing but a memory from afar. Memories make us together, They are the chains that bind us all, “Say do you remember the night?” No dear I don’t, so now I fall. So life is but all a memory, Without which we live a lie, And the memories hold us all, For without it, madness will fly. |

A most intersting perspective, not unlike Nietsche, or even Descartes, for that matter myself. The entire amalgamom of memory interaction in what is called now, is a subject whose tip of the iceberg is barely known, and too often cracks under the presmptions ans hypotheses of the day. Thanks for writing Not the most pleasant job around. But the PIP-Gods make me serve my penance. |
