Thinking the evidence circumstantial,
Yet sensing something deep and essential
Instant plans of what might be ultimate;
I must ask you to dance.

Some creation vibrates, other than melody
In premonitions of a beautiful ultimate
Your form in sight is such a harmony;
Thoughts of your touch bring high sensation.

There is no consonance between us,
But I see what seems feline in your glance
An instinct travels cat-like with me (walking)
Across the several feet between, to ask.

Affinity, felt in duality, can save humility
A clumsy shoe on a delicate toe,
Brings purrs of laughter from you;
Exposing clearly, your hidden objectivity.
*
A thing divine always finds its temple,
Standing still, the music has ended
The flux of the world moves on without us;
We sit to talk as the band plays old songs.
