There shall marshal roughed edges, haunting brisk winds patron Blown in on a new season, a door opens to thriving seedlings taken shelter Could there be more hope, more inspiration…more light? Truly peeking from the frost lines of an endless tan… Tantalizing spirits to be born again into the free of innocence Sloughing off the peelings of a deadened hearted winter But the sift of full bloom whispered to the forest floor And rising yet again to peer so humbly at first…yet thirst calls Beckon to the treetops to spit the buds of tomorrow to the sun Like orange seeds from a child’s giggling smile And grow…grow into the skies of finger paint and sponge Cake yellow…sleepy eyed to sunsets of fullest mellow Conjuring gems to sparkle in darkness of a spring night A Huron’s flight…into the parchment of a new day Sent away, the returning to be measured Astonished Copyright kkh 2/15/04 |

You carry with you a bag filled with images and metaphors that I wish I had about half of...Let's see, anything else I need to mention? Nope...astonished am I... |

"Truly peeking from the frost lines of an endless tan…" Interesting . . . . . . a line that would not have occurred to me. |
