I know one who will not receive my card for Valentine
But in my heart I know for sure that she is really mine
I've met her in these pages blue and I called her my friend
Because she was an angel true along the path she went

She was creative in her words and often made me smile
Reading her poems was just a joy and certainly worthwhile
She was not big in person but her mind embraced us all
Her smile was bright heartwarming as most of us recall

I'll keep a moment of silence to let her roam my mind
I love you Chipmunk Lyra, you truly were one of a kind

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

How very special of you to think of our Lyra on this day~

A lovely, lovely lady she was ... and how gracious of you to bring her to our thoughts with this Valentine tribute~

The Papaya Tree that I started in her honor from the seeds of the Papaya from New Poet Richey is now almost four foot tall ... just gorgeous, as Lyra was~

Hello Titia ~~ This beautiful dedication warmed my heart but brought tears of a Lady Chipmunk still very much missed and thought of often.

Every time I drive by the school in my town where she student taught, my thoughts race to her and I am reminded of her words, her smile and her quick wit.

Thank you for remembering her on this day.
Lyra, you are missed!!
