This Thingamajig We Call Love This thingamajig we call love, Can lift one to heights undreamed of, We treasure it each Valentine's, With poetry dressed to the nines. We seek the perfect; "I love you," Which speaks the feelings we hold true, An ode which we might gift our sweet-- --A sentiment that is complete. Yet there is naught that is as real, As the yearning that we two feel, There's no narrative I could write, Which in my heart would seem as right, As a simplistic, "I love you," For it's to thee that my heart flew. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |

good piece...love can be flashy and it can be simple...personally I'd take either one right now. |
