Flying Back To The Dirt Please press hard for a reason For the no-trouble days to fade, Please pursue the past season When the mooon was full and stars bright. Call out in the dark So the Sun can answer But for now... This night is ours Left to dark towers Tiers of thought in yesterday, Keep us raining down Our hearts on the ground Burned up in fires of yesterday. Quietly call out to the feeling Something that fades like today, Quickly call out your meaning And maybe I'll win the fight tonight. Whisper in the sunset So I can answer So for now... This night is still ours Left in the late hours Tears of thought in yesterday, Keep us raining down Love to those bright frowns Burned up in fires of yesterday. And if we paint the town With colors fromt he Sun Maybe time will balance itself And stand still for a moment. If I left you high in my mind With the things that you do Then maybe you'll balance yourself And stay here with me for a moment. This night is ours Trusting a few hours From peers of yesterday, Keep us praying now Tired heads bowed Only lifted by thoughts of today -alex |

Man, its hard to reply to all your poems, simply because I always want to say the same thing... Damn. I liked this one a lot though. It's different from your normal style, broken up into stanzas and everything. Nice job with it. |
