Happy Endings By Ixxi Last night I dreamed I was a fly. Against a wall I lay My tightened body, wanting to die But then the urge to stay. Last night I dreamed I was the moon Sunlight gave me power. I'm starved of light, but still I might Get through another hour. Last night I dreamed I was a baby Lying in a hospital bed. The bruises I felt, the way I was dealt. I nearly ended up dead. Last night I dreamed I was a memory Slowly fading away Brought alive behind a fire Then left for 'another day'. |
