this is a song, but it can read as a poem as well. enjoy. My Midnight Call A quiet midnight ride speeds us to tomorrow And the cold air prepares our lungs for the screaming involved. We'll clasp our hands to seal our love in rose-tinted warmth, Waiting for stress to show off our strength. Stay with me (I love you) Hold off yesterday (I love you) Let's take a swim in this freezing aluminum lake, Come above the surface but fall beneath the sadness. It's so hard to swim when my hand is in yours, But I'll die to keep your breathing constant. Stay with me (I love you) Hold onto to me (I love you) My eyes burn from your beautiful appearance And so you'll turn my eyes away to save them for me, But let them catch fire, let them burn, I'd suffer to see you; Return from eternity and forgive me, just hold onto me. Hold my head (I love you) Stroke my face (I love you) Love me too (I love you) I love you And if my life spills out through my veins Just hold my hand, bliss will be my slow deth. And if my voice screams out in anguish here Stick a cloth in my mouth to suffocate the suffering. Suffocate me (I love you) Spill my blo*d (I love you) Peirce my eyes (I love you) Still I love you Quiet my screams (I love you) Slow my breath (I love you) Shill my warmth (I love you) And still I love you |

"aluminum lake" always great imagery, always entertaining, and touching. But knowing this is a song makes it even more touching. I liked this a lot Alex. ~Lex |
