The rain, the wind, the sun, the sky - I found the bird and let it fly. And in the darkness of tonight, I held your hand and didn't fight - I didn't want to run or die. Falling... melting... in your eyes. "Why?" I asked. "Because." you said. The song's been sung, the book's been read, I've been here, but not as long... There's more music in this song... I'm not quite sure, but sure instead Life's behind and I'm ahead. I wish I could prove you wrong (he sat and sang for me a song) You are, you know, I've said before But was I really, really sure? (you called me beautiful tonight - was that the truth or just a lie? No one before has told me so. Are you real, or do you know?) The truth escapes, the wind dies down - If you leave, I won't be found, I'll disappear, I have before (the last time I thought I was sure). I won't give in (I'm not that strong). I cannot last (at least for long). Please - your eyes I cannot take, Avert your gaze just one more day. Her grace you see, and think perfection - But none is perfect as the pure. Your hands could take away in moments What she's saved for only you. Let her stay a little longer In the innocence of your love And when you know it's right and true, Take her hand and lead her home. You have my heart, you have my love. Is it enough that you alone Have the right to choose the future, Take my hand, and lead me home? |

Wow. Have I ever said anything bad about your stuff? I haven't been around these parts for a while but I jumped on your thread as soon as I saw it. Soooo nice. I love the rythm. You're so talented it's crazy. xx-cassiopeia. |
