"Pleased To Leave Ya" I'm still here Sitting by the harbor Watching burning stars And wishing they were larger. Hoping to be found Waiting out the black night, With my old guitar And just a small light inside. choruse: I've waited long Just for a night like this, I sing this song And wish for summer's last kiss. I'm still there Singing by the harbor, Watching your brown eyes I'll hold you awhile longer. Let's talk of our plans Reaching past this last night, It's almost gone now Hidden by the morning's early light. Let's leave behind tomorrow And bask in these memories. I pray that when i wake I live these young American Dreams. now im alone, but not lonely like before |

cute title. I don't mean to sound pathetic, but it was. First verse really drew me in. american dreams...yeah. I wish. Nicely done. " If you never stop when you wave goodbye, you just might find if you give it time you will wave hello again." |

Cute. I enjoyed the second stanza, or chorus, as well as the first stanza. That was pretty cool, my friend. Keep writing, you never cease to surprise me. |
