The outside, A haze of dense gray Arisen over the fresh snow Pale, white, soft in color Harsh, is whipping cold winds This kiss from I to you, warms Uncorupted by the outside This fire burns inside, melting Turning all hopes, desires, a real Through the eternal darkness, of the harsh winter I see your face, Ruby eyes Cutting through the rich entrapment of your beauty Your form takes place among the outlines Of hope, of longing A transparent ache screams Echos through the night Your heart has struck a spark, My fire rages for you. If my poems could talk they would mean more than the words |
