solid questions the yesteryears threw us down and the present holds us captive, WE get up and stumble around clinging to each other for support. do you care where life leads? do you know what it holds? when i'm with You, i have no needs, you are the thought that i live by. i would sweep you off your feet when everyone is watching us. I would shade you from the heat with my body though it burns. You know i'm missing you, but you cant be missing me. Others are lined up to love you too, thought im infront, i should be last. why do you waste your time looking at my dull appearance? or move my brown hair to find these boring blue eyes? maybe these arent the right questions i should be asking, maybe those arent what i search for at night and wish for during the day, it is, How can i humbly serve you? can i help with your coat? may i lay in the puddle you were walking through? may i push you out of the way to save your life, but lose mine? now im alone, but not lonely like before |
