I found sanity knocking at my door
He fell on my mat
And dripped through the fibers
Soaked my socks, so I took them off to the laundry
And cleaned them.

Sanity came by the next day,
This time by my window sill.
I pulled back the curtains and let him in
But I hit his ladder
And he..well...ouch.

I ran into sanity outside the market.

Or rather, I ran over him.

I wrote him a "get well" card,
But did not recall his address,
Since he moved around a lot
And didn't visit very often.
I never understood why.

3 days later, I got a letter.

"F".
