The plants in my garden are dying The trees have long since lost there leaves Animals have gone into hiding And all the doors on the block Are adorned with evergreen wreathes Every night is getting colder Even stale breath hangs in the air More and more as the nights grow longer I dream of sitting at home in my chair My night of passage is getting closer Will I be a man or still a boy? I don’t know witch is right I stand in the rain of ignorance Wanting to know who’s going to be there When no one comes into sight I get soaked as I sit and stair The full moon glairs with all it’s might Trying to light a path for me But I never tied to run a road Because my eyes where to dark For there to be a moon to see |
