The shaky, battered door, Shut itself once again, This time, Forced by cruel hands, Darkness encases the room, The dark remains not uncommon here, In this place, Where blackness reigns In this endless abyss of obscurity, Exists a lone picture, That barely survives each push the door receives, Each time this lumber closes, The picture evolves to more of a memento, A mere trace of its old self, And as the black chasm seems unbearable, Light creeps through, But rapidly suffocates, So close thinks the picture, Life cheated once again, The shadows prevail once more |
