We’re only friends when it’s convenient
And you find the time
You must think I’m stupid
But, Hun, I’m not blind

I know you’ve got your own thing
Different desires in your heart
Still you refuse to just tell me
That we’ve grown apart

And it’s hard to believe
Because we were such great friends
Now everything’s broken
And the wounds just wont mend

Yeah, I’ve heard all the rumors
And dodged all the lies
And yet neither one of us
Is breaking our ties

So until that day comes
When we acknowledge the truth
No more than ‘secret friends’
Is what I’ll be with you

Wow!~ That's like all I can say about this poem, it's such a mind-boggler for me to read, cause I've been in "friendships" like this...

I think you described it just right...

Thanks for sharing

I love this.  It really describes my life right now...really good.

Ha, yes, like every other teenage girl out there, I can really relate to this poem.
Actually, the first poem I ever wrote was about this type of thing happening to me, but I think your poem definately came out better, LOL.
