watching the world go by,
without so much as the question why,
as i let out a mechanical sigh,
i think back to when i used to try,

i used to be someone who cared,
i wonder now how i could have dared,
to be childishly stupid and scared,
as if it's more than i could have beared,

now i move as if in a dream,
makes me stutter out a scream,
things appear not what they seem,
with those things i never noticed.

A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your
heart.

I think this is something anyone could relate to in a sense. No one really knows what your on about and in this case its a good thing.
