bleach blonde hair,
is that all you take me for,
a cute perky smile,
of glimmering galore,

but theres more to me,
than you might think,
than bright wondering eyes,
and ribbons and pink,

underneath all this,
there's a heart with care,
and adventurous mind,
who doesn't fuss over her hair,

you might think i'm scared,
to hurt other peoples feelings,
but i'll tell you now,
i don't get mad i get down right even,

if i changed my look,
would you change your mind?
because i'll do that now,
and leave my world behind,

dyed brown curls,
is that my new look?
a devious smile,
you can't read like an open book,

maybe you should have left me,
strong-willed and bright,
but it's over now,
too late for you to know i was right.

A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your
heart.

I like this one it kindda reminds me of my friend. But you shouldn't change for anyone. If that person doesn't like you for you, then you shouldn't like them at all.
Sorry I just had to go through the same discussion with the same friend I metioned earlier. I hope you make the up your mind though.Other than that I really liked this poem it had a nice plot to it. I hope to see more from you in the future. Thanks for sharing. i'm gonna put this poem in my libary.

thanx i'm not gonna change for someone else because even though people don't like the way i might look or act i like my personality an dso do my friends so i don't have to change for anyone but me thanx.

i really liked this poem. i can relate to it too... it also reminds me of a friend of mine... well anyways Great Job!!!
