In the flicker of candle light
I can see the questions in your eyes
And it kills me because I dont have the answers

Your voice sounds so sad
Like you gave up on life
But that cant happen
Because its all I can ever care about

At he same time
I can hear a tinge of hope in your voice
So even if I cant find it, I know theres a reluctant hope
With a storybook ending, where everything will be okay

Even though you hide your emotion
That sets you aside from all the rest
I can see it in your smile
And I can hear it in your words

So scream out all your anger
That will bleed away the pain
In this storybook life

This poem was very good. It's not my favorite by you but I did enjoy it. I absolutly loved the first stanza. It explains knowing something's wrong and not being able to do anything about it. A situation I find myself in often. Great job.

Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes.
Want nothing & you will have everything.
