a mourning to remember Our tears have come to life, The shimmer and beckon others To spring from our reddened eyes, A Tear loves it's own company. Light a fire and let it burn, Wild, so uncontrolled, the flames climb higher. Wood was the kindling, now its happiness' turn To meet the heat that turns all to ash. I take that ash, placing it on a plate, Still the smoldering mess produces burns. Let's put on our sackcloth, devoid of the ornate, And shower in the ashes that melt away the memories. Wailing into the night, surrounded by sorrow, CAn you hear us? Do our songs of sadness penetrate? The tubes bring only more tears that awaken tomorrow, These will continue past them and into the future. Our delicate state cries out so lo9ud, Yet we desire silence and peace. I've never felt so alone in a crowd, But at least they feel the same. You are lost You cannot come home You are lost You have been conquered by deth's throne. now im alone, but not lonely like before |
