The Moonlight's Glow

On a moonlite midnight,a storm brewed outside
And dancing in this down pour was a surprising silohette
For an untamed spirit was just released from an unlocked soul
the extroverted spirit that was hidden deep inside

This free spirited girl usually restrained on a leash
Its' rope around her throat that had choked out this energy
was unbound with a yell that lightened her load
the weight of her heart that she had bore all this time

And as the music in her head played on a loop
she twirled in a circle and sang her lementing song
finally releasing her pent up emotions
she cried out in joy as she fell to the grass

As she lay on the ground a jovial sigh escaped her lips
letting herself go she relaxed her body and mind
and as the moisture soaked into her skin
she became whole and complete once again

But when the rain died down and the sun rose again
she tightened up and hid back into her shell
thus appearing to be her former self
forever the shy one, invisible to all

nice : )
and good point you made in the comment about not conforming to what other people want you to be.  thats absolutely right.  If people won't accept you for who you really are, they wouldnt have been very good anyways.  and also their loss!

okay well im not talkin : )
