This is a poem i wrote for my best friend and true love. Some people believe that a 17 year old cant know what true love is, yes it is probably rare, but i was lucky enough to experience it, if only for a blink of an eye. His name was zakk and he died a year ago. I wrote this poem for him a while after he died. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Thanks After learning of you death I just needed some time to catch my breath Everyone was moving on But my heart felt as if it weighed a ton I didnt know where to turn or where to go I was moving ever so slow Hearing the words of comfort and love People saying "its a sign from above" "A sign from above" oh yeah is that right I am trying to believe them with all my might But you are gone you see How can i just let that be My best friend My heart wont ever mend We did everything together I thought we would be forever I loved you so much You were always my one crutch To lean on when times were rough But this time...wow..this is ever so tough I wish i would have said this so many times But i thought you would figure it out through my mimes I love you so Why did you go All i can do is tough this out It will get better...but i just want to shout For everyone to hear I will try not to shed a tear I LOVE YOU ZAKK And i want you back Back for me to hold God...i feel so cold Take Luck Zakk!!! good write, full of emotion, well writtten. how did ur friend die? if you dont wanna answer u can just not tell me. just i know how it feels to lose a best friend. so just curious. very nice write. thumbs up!! |

thanks, my friend drowned in the snake river when we were swimming its tough to loose your best friend Viola |

omg, im so sorry!! if you were with them at the time, i bet it was really scary, but also if you just found out about it. still omg. its sweet that you wrote a poem for your friend. it sad but sweet. good write |

Hey, I'm sorry to hear that you lost someone you loved so much. I hope things are doing better for you than at first, I know it's very hard though... I think that Zakk was very lucky to have someone like you in his life, someone who loved him this much. For your poem does tell us of how deeply you felt about him...
